At Subi JFC, we nurture young talent through the exciting world of Australian Rules Football - from Auskick (ages 5 to 7) right through the competition-based Junior Footy league from Year 3 to Year 12.
We focus on skill development, teamwork and building a lifelong love of the game, in a fun and supportive community. Come and join us at our home ground of Subiaco Oval.

New to Junior Footy?
Junior Football is a structured, age-based competition starting at Year 3 (younger players are very welcome in our Auskick groups). Modified rules apply in the early years and evolve as players progress, to ensure enjoyment, safety and inclusivity for all. Junior footy is all about participation, teamwork and fun!

Game details: Games are played on Sunday mornings at varying times, with the 2026 season kicking off on 26 April. Training sessions in the late afternoon/evening are once a week, with days and times to be confirmed by your coach before the beginning of the season.
Location: Training at either Subiaco Oval (Roberts Road) or Rosalie Park Oval (adjacent to Aberdare Rd); Home games at Subiaco Oval, Away games are ??
Uniforms: Guernseys are provided
Parent involvement: Subi JFC is a community club and everyone will get a chance to help out in some way throughout the season (canteen, ground set-up etc).
All about Auskick
Auskick is the first step in the AFL pathway. It is a fun, skills-based program focused on kicking, handballing and marking, through games and activities rather than formal competition. Parent participation is strongly encouraged and helps kids feel supported, safe and excited to have a go. It also sets a great example about teamwork!

Game details: Auskick will run on Sundays from 8.30 - 9.30am. Our season runs from late April to late August (dates to be confirmed soon!)
Location: Most sessions will be held at our home ground - Subiaco Oval, Roberts Road, Subiaco.
Uniform: Not required for Auskick
