Round 1 vs Wembley at Henderson Park

The boys started off the season against a very strong opponent and an even stronger wind.

We finally got a score on the board in the second quarter. Apart from the opening onslaught the boys managed to hold Wembley for most of the game with just a few of their players getting the better of us.

It was great to see the new players Graeme, Tom and Chris get right into the game and the team.

Our first game was very tough, though the boys never gave up or stopped running. Keep up that level of commitment and we will see improvement soon. This week we will work on shepherding and basic skills.
